Under What Conditions Will Singapore EP be Cancelled?

In Singapore, the cancellation of EP usually occurs in the following situations: failure to renew the EP , job changes, or violation of regulations.

Failure to Renew the EP

EP is usually valid for one to two years and needs to be renewed in advance, otherwise it will automatically expire. The EP must be renewed no later than 6 months before its expiration.

Illegal Regulations

If the applicant or employer violates relevant regulations, such as providing false information or failing to comply with work terms, it may also result in the cancellation of the EP.

Job Change

If the applicant resigns or is dismissed, the original EP also will be cancelled and reapplied for after finding a new job.
