01. Choose Your Industry

Begin by selecting the industry you want to register in. There's no need to register the company immediately. Waiting until you secure the pass can help minimize unnecessary expenses.

02. Apply for the Pass

Prepare all required documents for the pass application, including patents or copyrights, personal documents, business plans, and application forms. This process typically takes around 3 weeks, but if acquiring new patents, add an extra 2 months for transfer time. MOM's review period takes approximately 8 weeks.

03. Register and Operate Your Company, Apply for Dependant Passes For Your Family Members To Obtain Long-Term Residence

Once the company meets certain criteria, you can assist family members in obtaining Dependant's Passes (DP) and Long-Term Visit Passes (LTVP), allowing them to study and reside long-term in Singapore. We'll discuss the conditions for family pass applications in a separate post.

04. Apply for PR with Your Family

After 12-24 months of company registration and operation, you can apply for PR with your family.

05. Apply for Citizenship (Optional)

Six months after obtaining PR, you can apply for Singaporean citizenship.

1.Alternatively, you can prioritize company registration, but ensure to submit pass applications within 6 months of registration.

2.The entire process, from pass application to family PR application, typically takes 1.5 to 2.5 years.

3.PR application review times vary but generally take around 8 months, though they can be shorter or longer.
